So as time goes on more and more anime are added to my already amazing list of shows I've watched completely. But just recently two new shows add to my roster made me feel well... uneasy...

First was the series "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni." after reading an article about Moe characters in March edition of Anime Insider I came across a list of Moe animes. Those was near the bottom, claiming to be like Elfin Leid, I decided I would watch it.

Macabre was a better word choice for this disturbing series. Every new episode brought a new spin on the ways one can die. It gave me a feeling of insecurity even in my own home. The end was satisfying, and the character development is so wide you start to wonder if you know any anime character at all. "Elfin Lied?" a drop of blood in the sea compared to this series. Its a never ending hommicide investigation where even the citizens of the town may be to blame.

The next was to even out the willies I received. It was the cute, and yet bizarre "Midori-no-hibi" or "Midori days" if you please. Loosely about a boy who's days of fighting are numbered when one more he wakes up to find his right hand has turned into a young girl with a crush on him. As the series goes on it becomes quite cute but the one thing that made me feel uneasy was the end of the series. where they thanked you for watching... It made me reflect on how many animes I've watched and how many of them I watched almost like a sport.

In reality I see now that the shows I have watched I really did like, and I will continue to watch the animes I like (even Higurashi no Naku Koro ni).
